NASA has opened media accreditation for the CRS-25 resupply mission, which will send a Northrop Grumman Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Journalists who want to cover the launch can now apply, and the agency has set a deadline for U.S. citizen reporters.

Liftoff is targeted for no earlier than Nov. 29 at 10:49 a.m. Eastern from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Once the spacecraft reaches the station, astronauts will use the Canadarm2 robotic arm to capture it and attach it to the Unity module. The Cygnus is expected to remain docked until May 2027. This is the 25th Cygnus built for NASA station resupply under its contract with the agency.

The cargo includes crew food, supplies and equipment for the orbiting laboratory. Among the science payloads are DNA-inspired particle hardware being studied for drug delivery and a cancer study that aims to predict whether tumors will spread. The mission comes as people have been living continuously aboard the station for 26 years, relying on regular cargo flights to keep operations running.

U.S. citizen media wishing to cover the launch must submit their requests online by Nov. 12 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Approved applicants will receive a confirmation email.
